Subroto Bagchi is a celebrated Indian entrepreneur, bestselling author, and public servant whose career is a powerful blend of high-level technology leadership and transformative social service. He is best known as a Co-founder of Mindtree (now LTIMindtree), one of India's most admired software companies, and for his dedication to public service, where he served with the rank and status of a Cabinet Minister for the Government of Odisha.
Bagchi’s 40-year career in the Indian IT industry is formidable. He served as Mindtree's Chief Operating Officer, rising to Executive Chairman before stepping down in 2016. Mindtree's contributions include building the Aadhaar platform, with revenues exceeding $1 billion and 20,000 global employees at the time of his departure.
